This privacy notice explains how EK Maternity Software Ltd, trading as EuroKing (referred to in this notice as “EuroKing”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), collects and uses personal data in connection with our website at www.euroking.com and our corporate business activities.

• NHS trust employees and other business contacts with whom we communicate in a commercial or operational capacity

This notice does not cover the processing of patient data within the EuroKing Maternity Management Information System deployed at NHS trust sites. In that context, EuroKing acts as a data processor on behalf of the relevant NHS trust, which is the data controller for patient records. Any questions about patient data should be directed to the relevant NHS trust.

We do not purchase personal data from third parties or use automated decision-making or profiling in any of our corporate processing activities.

5. Who we share personal data with

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We may share personal data with:

• Vela Software Inc., our parent company and group controller, where necessary for group governance, financial reporting, or operational support purposes, under appropriate intragroup data sharing arrangements
• Microsoft Corporation, as provider of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related services used to manage our business communications and data, under a Data Processing Agreement aligned to UK GDPR requirements
• Other technology service providers who support our business operations, under appropriate contractual Data Processing Agreements
• Regulatory bodies or law enforcement agencies where we are required to do so by law

We do not transfer personal data outside of the UK or European Economic Area except where appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy decisions.

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• The right to be informed about how your data is used (this notice fulfils that obligation)
• The right of access to a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
• The right to erasure (the right to be forgotten) in certain circumstances

• The right to data portability in certain circumstances
• The right to object to processing based on legitimate interests
