EuroKing Miracle’s archiving solution is a modern replacement of microfilm and microfiche, for the safe keeping of valuable information.
Our solution allows the original data, irrespective of database or platform, to be transferred to the archive and then accessed in a manner comparable to the original system.
The Database – the data itself is organised in a new ‘opened’ database but retained in platters, to allow for data transfer to more long lasting laser discs. EuroKing Miracle deals with both incremental archive as well as one off archive, as in the case of migration from one hardware platform to another, and from an application from one supplier to another.
The tools – the tools are made of three sets. The first is used to migrate the data from its original database. The second is used to maintain the archived database so that each archive session is linked to provide a single view of the entire database. The third allows for a multi level set of enquires at each application level. The enquiry screens allow for drilling to occur. A typical archived application may contain some 20 individual screens allowing for drilling to many levels.
Deployment – the archive may be developed in a number of ways. It can be deployed on a single workstation, over an existing network to many users, or over the web. Any access restrictions that existed in the original system may be imposed within the archive. In most cases the archive can be deployed with the existing infrastructure with no additional hardware. Due to the look and feel of the enquiry screens, training is minimal.
If the archive is being taken from a clinical system which is being replaced by one of EuroKing’s own products, the archive can be integrated, forming a complete patient record. The full archive can also be available from within the EuroKing application, further helping toward clinical risks.
